Easter
This year we went to the Farr West Easter Egg Hunt for the first time. We invited Jason's mom and sister to come with us. Jason and I were a little put off by the whole event. It wasn't a "hunt" at all. The city threw out candy and toys in a big field, blew the whistle, and let the kids run for the candy. Before hand, we told Brady to be nice and not to fight over candy. Jason said he heard a dad give his son a pep talk and told him to run and get as much as he can. The kids didn't get much but they don't need much candy and they had fun so that's all that matters. But I don't think we will be going again next year. (Notice what Brady is wearing. He insists on picking out his own cloths, whether they match or not.)

After the "egg hunt", Margo and Meleah came to our house and colored eggs with Brady. Parker had a nap. He'll have more fun next year when he is older.

Easter morning was a little rough. Brady was put in time out before we even got to do anything fun. We gave the kids their Easter baskets and let them play with their new toys. (We aren't doing the Easter Bunny thing.) Jason and I hid the eggs that we colored. Parker cried almost the whole time and didn't want to find his eggs. When Brady found all of his, Parker lightened up and Brady helped him find his eggs. Maybe next year there will be less crying and it will be easier to have fun.
