Parker Jason Griffiths

I was induced on Wednesday. It was the easiest labor ever. I dilated to 10 cm faster than the nurse expected. The nurses were holding his head in while they waited for the doctor. They couldn’t keep him in for very long. He came out (without me even pushing) before the doctor got there. Parker was born at 5:29 p.m. He weighed 6 lbs 8 oz and was 19 in long. Everything has been so much easier than with Brady. My recovery has been faster and Parker took to nursing right away and Brady has been really great with a new baby in the house.

To top it all off, Jason worked really hard to get our yard done. We hydroseeded on Friday (the day we left the hospital) and now we don’t have to do anything but watch the grass grow. Because that is done, he has allowed himself to relax at home with me and the kids. All too soon he will be back to business and I’ll be more on my own with two kids. I’m enjoying it while I can.

Freakin adorable! Put a goatee and a hat on him, and I don't think you'll be able to tell him apart from his dad!
